Description: The Department of War Personal Property Activity is conducting an open Request for Information (RFI) to identify commercial sources for a high-fidelity, high-performance API that decodes vehicle dimensions and VIN data for its cloud-based personal property system. The anticipated solution must provide broad U.S. vehicle coverage from 1981-present with trim-level detail, international VIN support, high throughput and availability, secure RESTful JSON/OpenAPI integration, and information on pricing, licensing, caching, onboarding, and testing.
