Vactor Truck Decant Services for Stormwater Waste RFP

Description: The Port of Seattle's Marine Maintenance division is soliciting bids (ITB No. 26-48) from qualified vendors to provide receipt, sorting, processing, treatment, beneficial use, landfilling, and authorized discharge of operational waste streams generated by Vactor and eductor trucks delivering mixed solid/liquid waste from water-main and stormwater infrastructure work. The selected vendor must manage approximately 900 tons of waste annually, maintain 24/7 access at their processing facility, comply with federal/state environmental regulations (including EPA Clean Vessel Act and Washington State Department of Ecology rules), and award will go to the lowest priced, responsive, and responsible bidder on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The contract has a two-year base period with five one-year option extensions (up to seven years) and a maximum value of $1,000,000; bids must be submitted electronically via the Port's VendorConnect System.
