USNS JOHN LENTHALL DEACTIVATION

Description: The Military Sealift Command has issued a total-small-business-set-aside presolicitation for deactivation of USNS JOHN LENTHALL (T-AO 189), with anticipated performance from July 1 through September 30, 2027. Work includes ship services, cleaning and gas-freeing tanks and other spaces, hazardous-waste disposal, and equipment removal at the contractor’s East or Gulf Coast facility. The solicitation is expected to be available through PIEE on or about December 1, 2026, and access to the work-item package and government-furnished technical data requires a completed nondisclosure agreement.
