Description: The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting a contractor to renew Raised Watertight Hatch 01-21-1 aboard USCGC STRATTON (WMSL-752) at Coast Guard Base Alameda, California. The contractor must remove the existing hatch, prepare and modify the opening as needed, install and weld the government-furnished replacement hatch and coaming, and adjust associated hardware. The work also requires protecting nearby shipboard spaces, inspecting and testing the installation, and restoring affected finishes and equipment.
