Anticipated rockfall mitigation will require corrective measures including but not limited to tree removal, rock scaling, rock dowel installation, draped mesh removal and replacement, removal and/or repair of an existing damaged ringnet fence, and installation of a midslope attenuator system. Rockfall mitigation will require difficult access techniques to reach the full height of the hazardous slope. Temporary protection of the facility and workers will be required. Repairs to damaged roadways, utilities or access pathways may be required. Repair of an existing small landslide slump along the access road is required. Final mitigation work will reduce rockfall risk to USCG personnel and facility. See attached file.
