USCA Science Building Water Heater Replacement (Request for Quote)

Description: Replace the existing storage water heater and heating element in the Science building. The existing hot water storage tank is heated by the boiler water circulating through an internal heat exchanger and supplies hot water to the Science building. The current tank is an Old Dominion Fabricator, RT-3 model, 125 psi maximum allowable working pressure, 220-degree-F maximum working temperature, ¼” thick shell, and 60 in O.D. The basis of design for the new tank is a RECO storage heater. The new tank and heating element shall be replaced with a “like for like” model, such as a RECO storage heater or approved equal.
