US Native Turtles - Housing Care Testing RFP

Description: Housing, care, testing, data management for confiscated u. S. Native turtles to support repatriation. Contractor shall: Have and maintain appropriate federal, state or tribal licenses and permits required to house and care for live animals, including any species-specific requirements. Be trustworthy and demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive case related information. Demonstrate ability to sufficiently maintain all relevant records pertaining to acquisition, possession, transfer, transportation, health and welfare, breeding, trade, and disposal. Utilize safe and appropriate handling techniques and equipment for live turtles (e.g., using personal protective equipment; minimizing stress and environmental exposures). Be compliant with all relevant partner government agency requirements (e.g., USDA, CDC, NOAA, State agencies). See attached file.
