Work include expand the existing water treatment building to house an additional softening treatment train, which includes a horizontal pressure filter and a vertical ion exchange softener. Install a new brine tank to supply the ion exchange softener. Excavate and remove the existing underground brine backwash tanks and replace with a backwash lagoon. The wellfield improvements include a new booster pump station, and the development of one new well. Piping, electrical, lighting, instrumentation, and control upgrades.
