The City of Gainesville is soliciting bids for the Tumblin Creek Improvement Project (IR049), a federally funded hurricane damage repair initiative located in Alachua County, Florida. The features will be built with 625 logs and approx. 410 3-4' boulders in accordance with engineered plans. Refer to engineered plans (attached) for the structural designs. Construction of some of the large wood features will involve excavation of soil to use for fill and willow planting within the fill. Contractor will be responsible for falling trees/digging up trees for the project and will be responsible for obtaining and staging boulders for the project.
