TUGCON; OPEN-OCEAN TOW
The Military Sealift Command’s (MSC) PM4 requires one or two U.S.-flag, Jones Act-compliant, ocean-going certified tugboats for one voyage covering two separate tows. The tows are ex-FORT WORTH (LCS-3) from San Diego to Bremerton, Washington, and ex-LAKE ERIE (CG-70) from San Diego to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The tugboats must comply with the U.S. Navy Tow Manual (SL740-AA-MAN-010), and the procurement is a total small-business set-aside.
