Description: Project includes the replacement and new installation of waterlines using open trench, jack and bore, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methods. Open trench construction consists of approximately 116 LF of 4", 31,508 LF of 6", 2,812 LF of 8", and 888 LF of 10" C-900 DR-18 PVC waterline. All waterline replacements will be installed parallel to the existing waterlines. The project also includes the installation of approximately 70 LF of 8" waterline carrier pipe within a 16" steel casing by jack and bore, and 60 LF of 10" waterline carrier pipe within an 18" steel casing by jack and bore, both under NMDOT roadway crossings. Additionally, approximately 208 LF of 6", 129 LF of 8", and 118 LF of 10" C-900 DR-18 FPVC waterlines will be installed by horizontal directional drilling.
