Transit Oriented Development Consultant (RFP)

Transit oriented development consultant. Task shall include the following: Strategic Advisory Services: Provide expert guidance on NJ TRANSIT bus and rail operations, scheduling, and intermodal connectivity. Project Coordination: Work closely with CCIA and NJ TRANSIT leadership, planners, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of services during construction and post-completion. Operational Planning: Develop strategies for temporary bus facility operations, rail service adjustments, and passenger flow management. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all recommendations comply with CCIA and NJ TRANSIT standards, state and federal transportation regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in meetings with NJ TRANSIT, DRPA, and other agencies to align project objectives. Implementation Support: Assist CCIA and NJ TRANSIT in advancing the designs and documents needed for the Walter Rand Project Phases. Contract and Procurement Assistance: Provide advisory support for drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts related to transit projects. Assist CCIA with NJ TRANSIT-related procurements, including compliance with state procurement laws, bid evaluations, and vendor negotiations. Cost Estimating and Scheduling Services: Assist with cost estimates for transit-related projects and phases. Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and integration with NJ TRANSIT timelines to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance. EO 215 Environmental Compliance Services: Provide advisory and technical support for compliance with New Jersey Executive Order 215.
