Trade and Cargo Academy

Description: The United States Army Corps of Engineers Charleston District is seeking construction services for a new Trade and Cargo Academy and Cargo Security and Seized Property Training Facility at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. The project includes hazardous-material abatement, selective demolition, construction of a 28,400-square-foot two-story academy, and construction of a separate 5,985-square-foot training facility with deep pile foundations and integrated building systems. The active federal construction presolicitation requires compliance with floodplain requirements, federal energy conservation standards, DHS security criteria, and 2021 building codes, and becomes inactive on September 16, 2026.
