Town of Sumner Seeking Bids to Relocate Tires for Removal

Description: The Town of Sumner, Maine is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to relocate accumulated waste tires from the wooded area behind the Town sand pit to a designated staging area at the front of the sand pit for a future removal and recycling project. The selected contractor must provide all labor, equipment, fuel, supervision, and incidental materials needed to collect, haul, and stack the tires, while protecting surrounding property and leaving the work area clean and safe. This is a service procurement (not a grant); sealed proposals marked for Tire Removal Preparation Services are due 9/1/2026 at 4pm.
