Description: The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering’s Geotechnical Engineering Division seeks a consultant for geotechnical and environmental investigation services for the Palisades Branch Library Replacement Project. The work includes reviewing existing documentation, preparing a site-specific health and safety plan, conducting geophysical surveys and field exploration, performing laboratory and environmental testing, and preparing geotechnical and limited Phase II environmental assessment reports. Only three pre-qualified firms—Verdantas, Inc., Geosyntec Consultants, and Fugro USA Land, Inc.—are eligible, and submissions are due October 14, 2026.
