# TBIPS RFP -- DEFENCEX Stream 1 for DND

Description: Description Only Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement (SA) Holders holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2 at the time of bid closing, in all required resource categories in this solicitation and in the National Capital Region under the EN578-170432 series of SAs are eligible to compete. The Department of National Defence requires informatics professional services on an as and when requested basis, to support Stream 1 of the DEFENCEX Project.

Replacement of existing twelve (12”) inch and sixteen (16”) inch diameter water main segments within the established franchise area with no planned increase in the Authority's existing water allocation permit. Replacement of these water mains will utilize horizontal directional drilling (HDD) techniques in order to harden the existing distribution system with minimal impact to the physical environment.

The Columbus Water & Power, Division of Water Reclamation, is soliciting proposals for a professional engineering services agreement for the Kian Run Stream Restorations project, CIP 650870-12226.. This project will assess Kian Run, which receives flow from the West Franklinton and Near South Blueprint areas, and design a restoration strategy to achieve the blueprint water quality targets to Total Suspended Solids (TSS). The study and design will follow protocols identified in the Chesapeake Bay Program Guidance Document. The design will propose the best way to achieve the TSS targets while maintaining the positive characteristics of each stream.
