Submarine Force Museum Museum Display Cases RFP

Description: Requirement includes delivery, assembly, installation and removal of packaging material of the following: 2 EA of Mannequin-style museum display case with a pedestal base and a 5-sided, frameless vitrine. Total interior dimensions (which encompasses the label rail) shall be 81"H x 35 7/16"W x 35 7/16"D. It shall be m ade from 100% archival materials that are inert and will not off-gas or damage objects. Pedestal-style base shall be made of Medex, painted black, with either an eggshell finish or the finish will be negotiated with the client. It will have leveling feet. Base will be 12" H. Case is sealed and microclimate controlled by a silica gel chamber beneath the deck. The case shall be engineered to an air exchange rate between .75 and 1 per day. This will give it the microclimate capability to maintain the targeted relative humidity inside the case. This compartment shall be accessible externally (i.e. is not accessed through the vitrine) through an opening that is approximately 11"W x 4"H, covered by a gasketed aluminum composite panel door.
