W. Elm Street Reconstruction Planning and Design Services (Request for Qualifications)
Professional engineering services for planning, design, bidding, award, and construction of street reconstruction project. The planning services include attendance at citizen advisory committee meetings, preparation of options showing road widths, on-street parking, and sidewalk. The design services include right-of-way and topo surveying, utility location, storm and sanitary sewer televising, engineering design, drainage analysis, utility upgrades. The length of work is approx. 2,600 ft and will be designed to be built in sections over multiple years. In addition to full-depth reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter will be provided with new catch basins and storm sewers to improve drainage along the roadway. Concrete driveway aprons and concrete sidewalks will be constructed, and lawn areas will be graded and seeded.
