The City of Melbourne is soliciting construction bids to install approximately 3,600 linear feet of force main piping using open-cut excavation, horizontal directional drilling, and jack-and-bore methods. The pipeline will extend north along Croton Road from the Western Sewer Force Main Phase 1 terminus, cross Sarno Road, and terminate for future connection to the Upper Croton Road Force Main. Work includes piping, fittings, valves, connections, pavement and sidewalk restoration, landscaping and irrigation restoration, and maintenance of traffic.
