Standards Enforcement Program for FMVSS No. 116, "Brake Fluids" - (Request for Proposal)

Description: FMVSS No. 116 - Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid Compliance Test – This is a test of brake fluids to ensure they maintain appropriate viscosity across various temperatures, remain compatible with different rubber materials used in brake systems, and do not damage metal components. Key enforcement tests include kinematic viscosity measurement, compatibility checks, and assessments of fluid stability under chemical and temperature stressors. Reimbursement for CPTI - Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLIN) (1002, 2002, 3002, 4002, 5002, and 6002) are cost reimbursement CLINs for this Contract and any subsequent Delivery Orders. The Contractor’s invoice for the cost reimbursement CLINs shall include copies of the actual vendor invoices with any associated tax, shipping, and handling costs. See attached file.
