Special Inspection Testing Services for Diego Rivera Theater

The theater is a 77,000 sf, mixed used building that will serve the performing arts department. In addition, it will include offices, 660 seat auditorium, rehearsal rooms, wardrobe, scenery shop, and instrument storage area use by students and faculty, general lecture halls, a public art gallery. It is a three story building with a mechanical penthouse that will be classified as a non high rise building as the highest occupied floor will be less that 75 FT above the lowest level of fire department access. Inspection duties on DSA regulated projects prescribed by the Administrative Code (CAC) help ensure construction work complies with DSA approved construction documents.
