Remove and dispose of spent activated carbon media from both tanks during the 2026 and 2027 calendar years as deemed necessary by 3rd party testing, which will be procured by MMSD. It is anticipated that, and basis of bidding shall be, each tank will require (2) media change outs per tank per calendar year for (2) years (8 media change outs in total). Furnish and install new activated carbon media for both tanks. Specific care must be implemented by the contractor to insure all equipment removing and replacing the new media does not carry an electrostatic charge.
