South Service Area Septic To Sewer Project RFP

Description: The project encompasses the extension of the municipal wastewater collection system, including the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, management, administration, supervision, and services necessary to construct, start up, and warranty a low-pressure sewer system and conventional gravity sewer system. Key construction elements involve installing 8" gravity sewer piping, sanitary sewer manholes, a duplex wastewater lift station, a 6" HDPE force main, a 12" HDPE force main with flushing stations, shutoff valves, and air release valves, 2" to 4" HDPE low-pressure sewer force mains, directional boring under major roadways, abandonment of existing septic systems, installation of 6" gravity service laterals, packaged simplex and duplex grinder pump stations, electrical service connections, a diesel engine-generator set with an automatic transfer switch, and as- built documentation.
