This project is to convert approx. 14,000 SF of existing hangar space into a two-story Secure space. The scope of work includes the demolition of an existing CMU storage room within the hangar space and the comprehensive build-out of the multi-functional floor plan to accommodate various open and private office configurations, conference and briefing rooms, training and planning areas, breakrooms, server rooms, and restrooms. The project requires structural and architectural planning for a second floor, incorporating the necessary floor plate, mechanical room, restrooms, communication stub-ups, elevator, and stairwells. Because this facility is located within a designated historical district, any exterior alterations will require consultation and approval from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). Contractors must account for heightened acoustic requirements and five separate network connections at each workstation.
