Constructing a solid waste convenience center that consists of the following: prefabricated attendant building, cast in place concrete retaining walls, paved areas (concrete and asphalt), yard waste and waste tire stockpile areas, utilities (electrical, water, sewer) and erosion control devices (sediment basin, channels, and culverts).

DeSoto Parish Police Jury is soliciting sealed and electronic bids for the Solid Waste Improvements at the Stonewall Compactor Site, including a new left turn lane on LA 171, a new asphalt roadway with soil-cement base and drainage, and construction of the compactor site with asphalt pavement, soil-cement, and a retaining wall. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for January 27, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Police Jury Meeting Room in Mansfield. Bids are due February 3, 2026 at 10:00 am, with bidding documents available via BidExpress and through Ace Digital.
