Banking Services *Sole-Source* RFP
Banking services.
Description: Continuation of Dining Services with Sodexo: The University’s current dining services provider has an established campus operation with the staffing, equipment, technology, inventory, and infrastructure necessary to provide comprehensive dining services. Due to the University’s transition to new and expanded dining facilities within the newly constructed Student Center, engaging a new provider for the limited transition period would require significant startup investments that could not reasonably be recovered during the short contract term. Continuing with the incumbent provider will ensure uninterrupted student meal plans, residential and retail dining, and catering services during the academic year. Transitioning to another provider during this period would create unnecessary operational and financial risk and could disrupt essential food services for the University community. Therefore, a temporary extension with the current provider is considered the only practical solution until the University can align a longer-term dining services arrangement with the new facilities.
