Summary
This project consists of: this work includes two (2) project areas to correct slide issues at the yankeetown project site. The work required at the yankeetown slide correction project - main area includes the repair of approx 3 acres of property impacted by soil slides. The work consists of clearing, grubbing and chipping exisitng vegetation, demolition of site features, including an existing home, its foundation and associated elements. Approx CY of rock (shale). Most of the excavated material will be transported and temporarily stored at an adjacent off-site stockpile location. An underdrain system will be installed in the base of the excavation and the site will be restored by compacting about 43,635 cubic yards of material in the area (which will be obtained from the off-site temporary stockpile), installing stormwater drainage elements, and vegetating the area. The work required for the yankeetown slide correction project - old state road 66 area requires a road repair that is approx 350’ long and located along old state road 66 approx 1. 1 miles east of yankeetown road in yankeetown, i. The project includes the construction of a row of cantilevered soldier piles to correct the slide impact and to reconstruct the roadway per warrick county standards. Both projects require traffic control related efforts (included for both work areas in the old state road 66 pricing) and erosion and sediment control work (included for both work areas in the main area pricing).
