Single Rope Technique Training Instructor Services RFP

Description: The City of Cleveland's Department of Park and Recreation, Division of Urban Forestry, is seeking proposals for recurring, field-based safety training and mentorship for Urban Forestry staff. The selected instructor will provide hands-on instruction in SRT/SRS climbing systems, ascent techniques, work positioning, ANSI Z133 safety principles, hazard identification, controlled climbing, aerial movement, and foundational aerial rescue. The one-year contract, with an optional one-year renewal, involves approximately 8–24 hours of training per week over about 20 weeks, with proposals due August 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
