SC DOE - Textbook Freight Services RFP

Description: Delivery of textbooks and other instructional materials to approx. 1,200 schools located throughout the state. The textbooks and other instructional materials are shipped from the publishers to a Central Depository and surplus materials are returned from the schools to the Depository. The successful contractor must be an established freight carrier with multiple operating terminals located within, or in reasonable proximity to, the State of South Carolina to ensure reliable statewide service, capacity, and timely responsiveness to the delivery and pickup requirements.
