Wenham- Safety Improvements On Route 1A
Project includes Safety Improvements.
Description: Sand route improvements and restoration. The project will widen trails to standard width, improve drainage, and aid emergency access. The work will require heavy equipment operation on sand dunes. The main objectives are to widen trails to 16’ width, restore existing drainage structures, add drainage dips where possible, and raise/lower several sections of the route. Some routes are as little as 6’ wide and will require significant effort to clear trees and sand. See attached file.
