Traffic Calming and Pedestrian Safety Measures in Redmond, Washington RFP
The City of Redmond seeks consulting firms with civil engineering design expertise to design traffic calming and pedestrian crossings in Downtown and Southeast Redmond. The work includes narrowing vehicle lane widths, two mid-block pedestrian crossings with rectangular rapid-flashing beacons, and three mini or modular roundabouts, including preliminary and final roadway design and channelization. The agreement is expected to last approximately 12 months from January through December 2027; although the project is federally funded, the solicitation is for consulting design services rather than a grant program.
