Safe and Efficient Transportation RFP

Description: Services of a professional management company to assist the county in providing safe and efficient transportation for approx. 1,300 children. Private transportation companies; enforcing contract provisions, including but not limited to, monitoring maintenance and cleaning of vehicles, on-site monthly inspections, assuring existence of training programs and adequate operating communication systems of the bus companies; managing bus routes; preparing and auditing Parent Mileage Reimbursement claims and monitoring compliance with New York State Department of Transportation and other applicable laws and regulations.
