The work shall consist of the drilling of Test Well No. 8, including well performance testing, furnishing, installing and operating the test pump, furnishing, installing, welding and grouting of well casing, temporary piping and electrical, and all other appurtenances, material, labor, supervision, equipment and miscellaneous parts and fittings as necessary and required. Test Well No. 8 consists of a drilling of an initial pilot borehole to a depth of about 175 feet for the purpose of soil sample collection and grain size analysis. Grain size analyses will be required for a minimum of two (2) sample sets within the target aquifer located anywhere between 160 feet and 175 feet. Construction of one (1) 8-IN dia. well in glacial drift at an assumed depth of 175 feet. The construction will consist of approx. 160 feet of 8-IN steel casing with 15 feet of 8-IN SSWW filter packed well screen.
