Rotary Parts Finisher Machine - (Request for Quotation)

Description: Seeking a multi-station automatic finishing machine for final finishes for laser cut and other primary process parts out of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Given HERL’s research mission and the wide range of products that they develop, maximum flexibility is needed to finish parts for various materials, sizes, shapes, thickness, and finish parameters. Ability to rapidly and safely change abrasives and cut parameters is key to maintaining an efficient workflow as HERL will on a daily basis reset the machine for the current job. Safety is a significant concern with a mixed metal process and many of the features below are aimed at mitigating safety risk of fire and operator error. Additionally, HERL’s current space is limited, and the machine must work with existing infrastructure. Must have conveyor belt wide enough to process 49” wide material; Must be able to process from 0.030” to 6.00” thick material; Must be able to process Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel.
