Roof Restoration Boone National Guard Center- USPFO (Request for Bids)

Description: The goal of this project is to remove the existing roof system down to the existing roof deck and install a new two-ply sbs modified bitumen roof system. The new roof system is a two-ply sbs modified bitumen in cold adhesive over cover board over rigid board insulation system. The first layer of insulation will be mechanically fastened. Additional layers and coverboard will be set-in two-part foam adhesive. All existing prefinished metal coping caps, gutters, scupper collector heads, downspouts, roof drains, metal roof splashes, flashings, accessories, and terminations will be removed and replaced with new components.

The new roof system is to be 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roofing applied with cold adhesive over new 1/2" gypsum cover board set in two-part foam adhesive. Wrinkles and other surface defects in the existing roof will be cut out prior to installation of the new roof system. All new prefinished metal gutters, downspouts, fascia, flashings, blocking, roof splashes, accessories, and terminations are included.
