Rocket Experimentation for Global Agile Logistics (REGAL)

Description: The Air Force Research Laboratory posted an Advanced Research Announcement (ARA) titled Rocket Experimentation for Global Agile Logistics (REGAL) to explore the use of commercially-advertised rocket launch systems for rapid point-to-point space transportation and agile global logistics. The program’s objective is to assess commercial point-to-point capabilities for DoD logistics with the aim of fielding a service-like capability able to deliver DoD cargo anywhere on the planet in under one hour; expected missions include emergency resupply, humanitarian and disaster relief, and routine transport to select DoD ports. The ARA itself does not solicit proposals; individual Calls for Proposals (two initial Calls are identified) will be issued against the ARA, and the announcement remains open until 1 July 2027.
