Description: The City of Bennettsville is seeking proposals from qualified and properly licensed roadway contractors to repair and rehabilitate portions of McKellar Street, Henrietta Street, and South Jordan Street. The design-bid-build procurement requires the contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, testing, hauling, disposal, and related incidentals. This is a construction procurement, not a grant program, and bids are due August 26, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Work consist of crack sealing, 175 extra long tn of slurry seal, 3,448 lf remove and restripe double yellow line, 6 ea remove and restripe "stop" pavement marker with stop bar, 3 ea remove and restripe "stop ahead" pavement marker, 6 ea remove and restripe "30" pavement marker, 313 lf remove and restripe 12" white crosswalk, remove and restripe "signal ahead" pavement marker, 387 lf remove and restripe 8" channelizing line, 6 ea remove and restripe directional arrow pavement marker, 1,874 lf paint red curb (2 coats of water base paint), 27 ea paint parking space marking.
