Description: The MOWA Choctaw Housing Authority is soliciting sealed bids from selected contractors for construction of a new maintenance vehicle bay on the MOWA Band of Choctaw Indians Reservation in Mt. Vernon, Alabama; this is a construction solicitation, not a grant program. The unrestricted lump-sum solicitation will use the “X” Factor tabulation method with Indian Preference, requires all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals, and requires a 5% bid/performance guarantee. Sealed bids are due August 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CT, with public opening immediately afterward, and the contract award requires approval by the MOWA Choctaw Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.
