City of Chesapeake
Provide project management and construction inspection services for construction projects; consultant, employing qualified, competent and experienced personnel, shall perform the services set forth herein providing services equal to the practice prevalent by consultants practicing within the subject area of work and commensurate with the magnitude and intricacy of the work under consideration. Work consists of widening the bridge from a 4-lane arterial to a 6-lane arterial, with three lanes in each direction. The project includes seismic retrofitting, installation of new bridge barriers, bridge supports within the channel, and the addition of a 5-foot sidewalk on the north side and a 10-foot-wide multipurpose trail with a physical barrier for bicyclists on the south side. Includes comprehensive construction management services for the Ramon road bridge at whitewater river project. This includes developing project staging and traffic control plans, implementing a quality assurance program (including materials testing and inspection), reviewing construction surveying, ensuring environmental compliance, and conducting public outreach.
