Provide interested experienced, qualified individuals or firms to prepare an american with disabilities act (ada) self-evaluation and transition plan that wholly complies with the requirements of the american with disabilities act of 1990, including any modifications made thereto.
AvailableSeeks to secure the most qualified consultant to compile and implement a comprehensive ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan for City-owned facilities, including, but not limited to, buildings, parks, parking lots, street intersections and sidewalks, and curb ramps. The selected consultant will, among other tasks, perform field investigations within the City right-of-way and of City facilities and parks in order to identify obstacles limiting accessibility, describe methods to improve accessibility and specify a schedule for achieving ADA compliance. The City is approx. 10.04 square miles and has approx. 191 centerline miles of streets. Certain sections and tasks within the project scope should be phased such that a separate scope and cost are provided for three (3) primary categories: (A) Public Right-of-Way, (B) Public Buildings, and (C) Parks & Recreational Facilities.
