RFI U-10Mo Fuel Fabrication

Description: Battelle, through the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory contracting office, is seeking information on the fabrication of U-10Mo fuel for U.S. nuclear research and test reactors. The contemplated work covers U-10Mo alloy production using government-furnished HALEU and molybdenum, fuel-plate fabrication, and fuel-element assembly, with respondents expected to demonstrate nuclear-material handling and fabrication capabilities.
