Canada, as represented by the Department of National Defence (DND), with the assistance of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), issued this RFI for the Maritime Forces Atlantic (MARLANT) Fuel Barge requirement. It seeks industry feedback on procuring a Class approved double-hulled steel tank barge to fuel the Canadian Naval Fleet Atlantic (CANFLTANT). The barge will not be self-propelled; it will be transported and positioned by the existing King’s Harbour Master tug fleet, crewed for day use by KHM civilian staff under commercial Class rules, and is expected to be berthed at existing jetties.
