RFA 32027-00018 AEL High School Equivalency Virtual Provider

Description: The Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) three-member Commission held a work session on state wide initiatives and designated funding for a series of comprehensive statewide strategies. This initiative will support TWC’s Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) goal of increasing the number of adults in Texas with a high school diploma or its equivalent (High School Equivalency [HSE]). The funding would provide an option for adults in Texas to connect to educational services virtually to attain such credentials in order to transition into postsecondary education or training (college and career readiness).
