North Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS), through the Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) Hazard Mitigation Office, seeks to prequalify prime contractors for residential property acquisition and structure demolition services across North Carolina. The work includes project scoping, pre-construction services, construction and demolition activities, post-construction services, and closeout services for eligible structures, with qualified contractors able to bid on projects as needs arise. This is an open request for qualification rather than a grant solicitation, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis through July 31, 2028.
