Request for Qualifications for Interior Design Services at Sumter County Airport Terminal

Description: Sumter County is seeking professional interior design services to support the evaluation, planning, and improvement of designated interior spaces at the Sumter County Airport. The project is intended to improve the functionality, appearance, durability, accessibility, and overall user experience of the designated airport facilities while maintaining a professional environment appropriate for public aviation facilities. The anticipated project area may include passenger or visitor spaces, public waiting areas, administrative offices, conference or meeting spaces, reception areas, restrooms, circulation areas, and other spaces identified by the County. The specific facilities, rooms, square footage, existing conditions, and project priorities will be confirmed by the County during project development. The selected firm shall consider the operational requirements of an active airport, including coordination with airport personnel, minimizing disruption to airport activities, maintaining safe access, and accommodating applicable aviation, building, fire, accessibility, and other regulatory requirements.
