Description: The City is seeking proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations, private entities, library organizations, foundations, operators, or partnerships to take over management and operations of its public library. Proposals are expected to set out the operating model—including service delivery, staffing, facilities upkeep, and capital improvements—and a sustainable long-term financing plan that reduces reliance on annual City General Fund appropriations. The solicitation aims to preserve library services and avoid closure; proposals are due February 26, 2027, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
