Description: The Silent Anvil Air-Launched Torpedo (SAA-LT) is a next-generation anti-submarine warfare standoff delivery system intended to address emerging undersea-warfare threats and expand the aircraft platforms capable of ASW missions. NAVAIR is seeking industry capabilities to design, develop, test, and fabricate cost-effective, rapid-prototyping alternatives, and industry may respond with either a complete end-to-end solution or an unpropelled glide wing kit carrying government-furnished equipment to the target area. The notice is an information-and-planning RFI rather than a solicitation or RFP, and responses are voluntary and must be unclassified.
