Description: 1. The existing overhang consists of exterior gypsum board attached to metal framing. The Northern edge of the gypsum board overhang has partially detached from the framing. (see PIC1 attached). 2. Remove existing gypsum board sheathing as indicated in attached PIC2. 3. Inspect adjacent gypsum board panels to verify they are secured adequately. Install additional fasteners as needed, following all applicable code requirements and manufacturer specifications for spacing. 4. Install new 5/8” exterior gypsum board to match existing materials. Basis-of-design Material Specifications attached. 5. Finish joints, fastener locations, edges and related surfaces using products approved for exterior use and in accordance with manufacturer requirements. The final finish to be smooth and free of visual defects.
