Description: The Connecticut Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of Bridge No. 02150, a concrete box culvert carrying Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) over Freeman Brook in Stratford. Proposed work includes patching deteriorated culvert concrete, repairing the cutoff and wingwalls, addressing channel and embankment scour, rehabilitating storm drainage, and replacing part of the sanitary main and its encasement. CTDOT's advertised-project listing gives a bid-opening date of October 28, 2026.

Rehabilitation of bridge. The bridge consists of multiple steel girders spans and a through-truss span carrying active railroad traffic. The scope of work includes structural steel repairs throughout the bridge including floor beam repairs girder flange repairs stringer replacement cross-frame rehabilitation anchor rod replacement installation of new top and bottom lateral bracing systems and replacement of designated tower and transverse bracing members.
