Range Target Trench - Fort Devens, MA RFP

Description: Requires the procurement of professional services to build the target emplacement trench systems to hold the range targets on ranges Xray 1 and Xray 2. Each trench system must be made of pressure-treated wood. The measurements for this trench for each range are 490 feet in length and must be 4 inches wide and 12 inches in depth to fit the targets for the ranges. An 8x8 protective piece of pressure treated wood is required to be in front of the target trench as well and will cover the entire 490 feet of the target trench to provide the trench with protection from rounds. Each range will need (50) target signs that will have the even number lanes with white numerals on a black background and odd number lanes will be black numerals on a white background. The range target point signs will have a dimension of 24” x 24” with the numbers 18” tall. (50) Range firing point signs will follow the same color scheme as the range target signs and must be visible when placed on the ground. (4) sets of range yard line signs placed at both ends of the range will have a dimension of 24” x 24” with the numbers 18” tall and will be black numerals on a white background and placed at the 5-, 10-, 15-, 25-, and 50-yard line.
